How To Deal With Stress
Stress isn't one of those things you can get rid of easily and even if you deal with it, it doesn't mean it is gone. 1)Talk to someone. 2)Write in a journal.
3)If you're worried for a test study, study, study!!!
4)If you are under pressure from friends, tell them you can think for yourself (just kidding!), tell them NICELY that you know what you want or/and if they don't stop-what's stopping you from not being friends with them anymore?
5)And lastly, if you are under pressure from your parents(if they're getting a divorce or something) just tell them or ask to speak to a counselor at a hospital, or maybe a school counselor if your school has one.
How To Control Your Temper (well, its worth a try)
First thing first, being angry is a normal part of every day life, so get used to it!!! (just kidding)
No, actually the first thing to know, which may surprise you is to know what Anger is. Now, this may come as a surprise (then again it might not but... you get my point) but anger and happiness are just about the same thing (well, the way you get angry and happy is anyway), they both form when a certain chemical is released and it mixes with so and so, and you know the rest.
For those people who take their temper for granted, think of it this way, if you are never angry during your life, 1) (don't get upset, because you are not missing out on anything) Seriously though, if you are never angry you have nothing to compare your happiness, or whatever, to 2) Also you do need anger in your life (sometimes anyway) because sometimes you need that extra surge of adrenaline to keep you awake, or incase (you get in a fight) you are playing sports 3) And three because have you ever tried going through a day without getting upset (its very frustrating!).
Now what you've probably been waiting (rather impatiently, if you need to use this site) for, the advice itself. Well, I had better get to it then.
1) Think about something else that has nothing to do with the subject a toothpick for instance (don't get carried away, mind you).
2) If that doesn't work you can always talk about it (not right there though, wait until you've calmed down you might end up gtting mad all over again)
3) Sometimes it is hard to control yourself, meaning sometimes the best way to deal with it is to go ahead and yell (just make sure you're at home in your room by yourself).
4) If you are at home what I like to do is go to my bedroom (Do Not Slam The Door!!!) and pound on my pillow. What you can also do is (if you have a mirror) you can yell at yourself. However before you go off yelling you should know that this could cause you to 1) Get mad at yourself and 2) You are not exactly getting rid of the situation, rather blaming yourself for it.
5) And of course you can guess what I have to say... Come on, say it with me, 'you can always write in your journal'.
I guess that would be about it for if you are at home.( I have a different page for when you are in school.
